Empowering the marginalized and upholding justice

At the Wilmington Freedom Alliance (WFA), we are a dedicated group of passionate individuals who believe that everyone deserves access to legal and bail assistance, regardless of their financial circumstances. We are a volunteer-run 501(c)(3) organization that strives to provide relief to marginalized individuals in our community. With our unwavering commitment, we work tirelessly to empower those who need it most in the City of Wilmington, ensuring equity and access to justice.

Restoring hope and securing freedom

Our primary mission is to eliminate the financial barriers that prevent indigent individuals from receiving legal representation and accessing bail assistance. We firmly believe that socioeconomic status should never hinder the pursuit of justice. By providing free legal and bail support, we aim to ensure that each person, regardless of their financial capability, can secure their freedom and obtain fair representation within the judicial system.

Supporting the most vulnerable members of our community

We understand that pretrial detention can have significant consequences on a person's life. Our bail assistance program aims to help indigent individuals secure their release, ensuring that they can continue their daily lives while awaiting their court hearings.

Extending a helping hand to those in need

At WFA, we prioritize assisting those who are truly in need. To qualify for our bail assistance program, individuals must demonstrate financial incapability and reside within the City of Wilmington. We provide support to those facing legal challenges, irrespective of their background or circumstances.

Get Involved: Join us in making a difference

We believe that change happens when communities come together. If you share our passion for justice and want to make a meaningful impact, there are several ways you can get involved with the Wilmington Freedom Alliance. You can volunteer your time, donate to our cause, or simply spread the word about our mission. Together, we can restore hope and improve the lives of the marginalized in our community.
